Our Story
Started as Ocean Moon Social Enterprise (OMSE), the company was founded in 2015 and dedicated to the production and export of premium coconut shell charcoal. Over the years, OMSE has grown into one of the largest exporters of coconut shell charcoal in the Philippines, earning a reputation for excellence and reliability in the coconut shell charcoal industry.
In 2023, Ocean Moon Social Enterprise has ventured into the business of activated carbon and registered as Ocean Moon Carbon Technology Inc.
Throughout the journey, we believe in fostering partnerships and empowering local coconut shell charcoal communities. We have collaborated with over 800 local coconut farmers and traders, providing sustainable livelihoods. Our business transactions have generated over 4,000 employment opportunities.
